ALTA is a commercial and industrial group that operates on the markets of Eastern and Central Europe and has recently expanded its scope to other countries as well. In the field of export, it specializes in the supply of investment units, machine tools, technologies for the extraction and processing of ore and other raw materials, equipment for the production of building materials and metallurgy, and trade in other machine-industry products. In the field of imports, the company focuses primarily on the field of energy.
The ALTA Group is formed by the mother company ALTA Invest, a.s. and its Czech and foreign subsidiaries, which provide a wide range of business, engineering, production and financial services in a number of industrial areas. The business activities of the ALTA group are mainly carried out through the company ALTA, a.s.
In addition to normal business activities, the company increasingly fulfills the role of general supplier of investment units, both during the implementation of new production technologies as well as during the reconstruction and modernization of existing production capacities. Through its own potential and specialized design partner organizations, it ensures the processing of project documentation for its customers and provides the necessary technical assistance.
Together with the delivery of equipment, it provides customers with extensive engineering support in the area of implementation new production technologies. This area can undoubtedly be ranked among the areas with the highest development possibilities.
The group has its own production capacities in SE-MI Technology, a.s. in Ostrava.
ALTA is an active member of the Chamber for Economic Relations with the CIS, the Regional Economic Chamber of Brno, the Engineering Technology Association, the Czech Energy Alliance, the Czech Nuclear Society and was one of the founding members of INDUSTRY CLUSTER 4.0.

Financing
History
The ALTA Group has a stable position among important Czech exporters. A number of contracts with bank financing of our customers were successfully implemented. The implementation of these projects is facilitated by traditionally good and close working relationships with banking and insurance institutions.
Cooperation
The range of cooperating banks is comprehensive both from the point of view of their size and the services provided, as well as from the point of view of their focus on export financing. Using the rich experience of banking partners and the skills of our employees, we offer customers innovative solutions in the field of export financing with favorable conditions for the successful implementation of their business plans.
Services
We offer customers standard export financing with a medium or long-term loan with EGAP insurance. Long-term financing increasingly involves providing a loan to the customer’s local bank, the risk of which is insured by EGAP or a commercial insurance company. For loans up to 2-3 years, we offer customers financing in the form of a confirmed letter of credit with deferred maturity without EGAP insurance or commercial insurance companies. In the mentioned ways, it is possible to finance a wide range of export supply contracts, from piece deliveries to deliveries of technological and construction units on a turnkey basis. ALTA is helpful to the customer in processing all the necessary documents for the standard analysis of the project and the borrower from the point of view of the needs of banks and EGAP.

Production company SE-MI Technology, a.s. provides engineering supplies and technological units in the fields of deep and surface mining of minerals, treatment plants, surface transport systems as well as equipment for other branches of industry, based on its own technical, production and logistics know-how.

The DMS company has been focused on the transport of dangerous materials and radioactive substances, including nuclear materials, and the transport of excessive loads. It provides specialized transport services in the field of the nuclear fuel cycle not only in the Czech Republic, but also abroad.
